ANGELSQUEST #12- Super Weigh-In WW Week 9




*I am really behind on comments-- I'm sorry* Please pray for my father who is in the hospital. Thank you!*

I am SO pleased with this week's weigh-in results! I made a huge effort with my food choices. I used my own version of the Simply Filling Technique by Weight Watchers. Basically I kicked it up a notch with consuming living foods / raw foods during the day and then eating a sensible regular dinner with family. I also had no fast food this week! YAY for the wallet- yay for the body! LOL I also re-started my consumption of Green Juices (why I ever stop I don't know!) - My favorite is Green Lemonade by Natalia Rose author of the Raw Food Detox Diet. (Recipe at the end). I had this every morning- lots of fresh food during the day veggies, fruits, salad, etc.. then at dinner a large salad, steamed veggie plus a sensible portion of whatever healthier cooked main dish I made for my family. THIS feels great to me!
p.s. Please pray for my father who is in the hospital.. congestive heart failure /diabetes complications.. His name is Lupe Valdez. Thank you.

OH! Here's the recipe for Green Lemonade: (you need a juicer for this)
1 head of romaine lettuce
few stalks of celery or kale
1 lemon (peeled if not organic)
1 cucumber ( I add this- it's not in the original recipe)
1-2 Fuji apples to taste
slice of ginger optional

YUMMO!

  2. YES! This is how my own transformation and journey toward health and healing began – green juice daily and raw till dinner. The "cleaner" your system becomes, the easier it is for your body to recognize and reject the fast food as poison and you won't even be pulled toward the drive-thru windows. Promise.

    I see you are trying to eat more raw foods good green smoothly! I know u are not 100% or anything but I believe what you are doing adding more whole foods back in you will start feeling great. I went back reading your older post and I saw how you talked about how you felt when you were eating raw. But again I think you can feel this way without 100% raw and just a lifestyle of MORE whole foods. I thought I would encourage you by adding this in my comment. You are doing great you are such a inspiration to me you don't give up!

    * I no longer wake up with back pain or actually ANY pain. What would take me about 20 minutes or assisted by someone now I can just wake up, sit right up ,stand right up and go! - THAT IS AMAZING!!
    * My skin is clearing up- including some dark patches beginning to lighten (imbalance issues)
    * My belly is flatter.
    * I don't feel that heavy slug feeling after eating - not any meal.
    * Improved digestion- no more IBS symptoms after eating - not once.
    * I've had no hypoglycemic episodes- not one in the past 14 days.
    * Cravings for refined sweets completely gone.
    * Lots of energy- I mean LOTS.
    * Um, increased sex drive- BIG TIME. LOL My honey is especially happy about this one!
    * My blood pressure has been just beautiful- last reading 101/69!
