morning with his surgery.. he FELT the prayers and the they God's work
was done! A surgery that could have taken alot longer was done in less
than one hour- NO complications at all. He made it under and out of
anesthesia like a trooper. The area of the amputation has very good
circulation and they expect a quick healing because of that.
It took a long time for him to get placed in the room where he needed to
be it's called the MICU unit-- but when I finally got to see him- OH MY
GOODNESS he looked wonderful! I couldn't believe how good and refreshed
and relieved he looked! Yesterday, his color was pale and ashen looking
and now it's SO good- his face and eyes, bright- he was talking - lively
and great appetite that he made very clear to the nurses LOL He said his
pain level has gone from nearly a 10 to a "2". OH MY GOODNESS - thank
you LORD!!!! Of course, he is on heavy duty pain meds and will expect
pain at the surgical site but no where near like before. He said it
feels like he still has his leg but just minus all the pain! It was
GOD's hands on those surgeons- only God's supernatural power. Even
before they took him in- a nurse stopped in out of no where and said he
passed by and that God put it on his heart to pray for him right then
and there! Of course, my soft-hearted Dad cried as this brother in
Christ prayed fervently over him and when he was done praying- my Dad
was signing "Eres mi Dios, mi sanador.. " (You are God- my healer") and
when he was being rolled in he was singing praises to God..
From the bottom of my heart, my family thanks you all. He has a long
recovery ahead and a likely 2nd amputation in the future but we are
taking it ONE day at a time.. and TODAY was allllll for God's glory..
Thank you Lord for holding my father in your hands and continuing to
touch him and thank you for the HEALINg that is already happening!
Thank you sisters..
Angel

Hi Angel,
Just thinking about you and hoping your father is still doing well.
Please take care of yourself...it's so easy for us women to take care of everyone but ourselves.
